10. Attach the support bar.
Make sure that the tab of the processor duct is inserted under the support bar.
NOTE: The support bar can spring upwards when freed, resulting in
the loss of screws.
Firmly hold the support bar down while removing the screws.
11. Install the components you removed in steps 1 to 3.
12. Power on the server and verify that POST displays no error messages.
If POST displays an error message, take a note on the message and see the POST error
messages listed on page 8-10.
13. Run the BIOS SETUP utility and select [Advanced] → [Memory Configuration] →
[Memory Information] to verify that the installed DIMM shows a number. (See page 4-14
for details.)
14. Select [Memory Configuration] → [Memory Retest] on the [Advanced] menu and specify
"Yes".
This setting is required to update the hardware configuration information. See page 4-8 for
details.
15. If the Windows operating system is in use, set the paging file size to the recommended
value (total memory size × 1.5) or a greater value. See page 8-49 for details.
