4-8 Using the NEC MobilePro
Follow these steps to enable the Suspend switch.
1. Tap Start, Settings, then select Control Panel.
2. Double tap the MobilePro Settings icon to launch the
dialog box shown in the following figure.
Be sure to select the “LCD Suspend/Resume” tab.
Power off settings
3. Select either “Enable suspend while on Battery Power” or
“Enable suspend while on External Power,” or both, to
enable the Suspend switch.
Note:
Your NEC MobilePro will not
automatically suspend during synchronization,
while running on battery power, unless the
battery charge is at a very low status. You may
want to connect your MobilePro to an AC power
source before synchronizing with your host PC.
