1.3 Register a managed component on NEC ESMPRO Manager

To register the managed component on the NEC ESMPRO Manager, login to the NEC ESMPRO Manager

and perform in the following order:

(1) Configure environment setting

(2) Add the group to which the managed component will belong.

(3) Register a managed component.

1.3.1 Environment setting

A setting required to manage a server which uses self-signed certificate for WS-Man over HTTPS is

described below.

On “Environment” – “Network” screen, set “Self Signed Certificate” to “Allow”.

1.3.2 Add Group to which the managed component will belong

If you want to register the managed component in the specific group, click "Add Group" on the "Group
