Checking the hard disk drive model number and firmware revision level

of hard disk drives attached to this controller.

Notes:

The enclosed Mylex Software Kit CDROM is

included for documentation purposes only.

EXPRESSBUILDER Easy Setup does not support the

SecuRAID 320.

Installing Drivers

Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 Operating Systems

NEC has provided validated SecuRAID drivers for your operating system. The

drivers required for the SecuRAID 320 (Mylex AcceleRAID 352) are located on the

EXPRESSBUILDER CD that is included with your system. To create the

required driver diskettes, perform “Custom Setup” on the EXPRESSBUILDER

CD. Select the AcceleRAID 352 driver that is appropriate for your operating

system.

Note:

When installing the SecuRAID drivers on systems

running Windows 2000 Operating System, a message

indicating the driver is “unsigned” may display. Disregard

this message and continue loading the driver.

Novell NetWare

Use the enclosed diskette labeled Mylex 160/352 NetWare Drivers to install

SecuRAID 320 (Mylex AcceleRAID 352) drivers.
